What Are The Advantages Of Rubber Tiles?

Rubber floor tiles are a great addition to any park or playground. They offer safety advantages above and beyond what other flooring can, can be made from recycled rubber from old tires, and are extremely soft and forgiving. 

These rubber playground tiles are cheap and easy to install. Some of them have interlocking rubber tabs that connect to each other, while others have pegs that are insertedinto the side of the tiles. Then a rubber mallet is used to tap the tiles together.
They can be used in professional, industrial, residential and commercial applications. They're widely used in parks and playgrounds lately and this is perhaps their best use. They're also great for pools, home gyms, offices, and more.
The rubber interlocking foor mats can be assembled very quickly. There's no need to glue them down to the floor, but they can be glued together so that no one can tear them up. However, unless it's used outdoors where kids or perhaps vandals could get at them it's not something that needs to be worried about.
They can last for a long time, decades even. When a single rubber tiles or a group of tiles gets worn out (as is usually the case, a single high traffic area might wear out more quickly than another area) you can just sub out that tile or section of tiles. 
Rubber mulch is a nice alernative but doesn't offer as much safety advantage as tiles. The mulch can get spread around too thin or even tracked away and would need replenished. Rubber mulch doesn't need to be installed, so you save time and money initially, but in the long run you're probably better off with tiles.
Rubber tiles are very damage resistant. They're also slip resistant which is nice for play areas and around pools. Also, water doesn't pool up on them and will dry up quickly.
You can get them in many different colors and even have designs printed on them. For instance you can get your company logo, big block letters for kids, or even fairy tale characters. Or you could build your own designs by using different colors of tiles creatively, perhaps spelling things out or having lines of different colors leading people to certain sections of a playground (i.e. follow the yellow brick road). 
The biggest factor though come sdown to safety, at least when it comes to kids playing. Backyard playgrounds alone have more than 50,000 injuries per year, 60% of which are related to not having proper cushioning and landing on a hard surface. A fall from as short a height as 30 inches can lead to lacerations of broken bones. Most of those can be prevented by having the proper rubber tile flooring installed. How is Polypropylene Powder Used?

Polypropylene powder is a really cool polymer. It can be used to make a very wide ranging style pf products. You may never have heard of polypropylene, but there's no doubt that you encounter or use a product that is made from it nearly every single day of your life! That is, provided you live a modern existence and not in the wilderness of course!

Most people are probably familiar with this sort of plastic case. But what you may not know is that under the flap is an identifaction code for the type of resin used to make the plastic polymer. 
Many other plastic products can be made from polypropylene powder. For instance, many products needed for use in a lab or other medical location are made with polypropylene because it can handle the heat from an autoclave. (An autoclave is a specialized sterlization area that cleans things at with very hot, high pressure steam). Because of it's high heat resistance, many food containers are made from it because they won't melt in the dishwasher. Some polypropylene are subjected to an extra treatment of polyethylene or polystyrene for extra heat resistance.
Plastic bucks, pails, car batteries, wastebins, bottles for pharmacy prescriptions, pitchers, dishes - all of these are made using some form of plastic polypropylene powder polymer (say that 10 times fast!). 
It can be used for plastic moldings: it can be injected into a mold at high temperatures and create complex shapes at a relatively low cost. For instance plastic bottles and caps. 
Polypropylene is really good for products that exist in sheet forms, such as packaging, storage bins, folders, etc. Think of the plastic pockets used to trading card collecting. What is Polypropylene Powder?

Polypropylene is known by many different names, such as Propene polymers, Polipropene 25, Polypropene, Propylene polymers or 1-Propene. It's molecular formula is (C3H6)n and it has a density of .855 g/cm3 when amorphous and .946 g/cm3 in crystalline form.

It is a thermoplastic polymer that is typically quite tough while retaining flexibility --- especially so when it's copolymerized with something like ethylene. Many of the commercially available polypropylene powder products are isotactic with a mid-range level of petroleum coke density. 
This allows for polypropylene products to be used for a wide range of industries and products and to compete with materials such as ABS. It has a decent resistance to fatigue  and is actually quite economical. It can be made translucent but not as easily made transparent as other materials such as polystyrene or acrylic, therefore it's typically opaque or colored by using certain pigments.
Polypropylene comes in three main varieties. These are homopolymer, block copolymer and a randm copolymer. Polypropylene homopolymer pp typically has ethylene-propylene rubber added to it to increase its impact strength at low temperatures.
Giulio Natta and Karl Regn where the first to polymerize a crystalline isotactic polymer of the substance back in 1954. Quickly, large-scale commecial production of polypropylene powder by Montecatini (an Italian company) began in 1957. Since then, production of polypropylene has not been able to keep up with the demand.
